This place surprised me in a good way! Based on the pictures, I initially thought the pizzas would be larger, but when we arrived, we realized they're actually personal-sized. My pizza was a bit softer than I'd prefer--another minute or so in the oven would've given the crust that perfect crunch without burning it. My friend ordered the cinnamon-glazed knots, and we all ended up sharing. They were shaped more like sticks, which made them slightly awkward to eat. The portion size was just right, but if the knots were halved, they'd be easier to share. The location is great--right in Midtown. Parking might be a bit tricky, but the area is walkable, with a nice green lawn across the restaurant. One thing to note: this is a counter-service spot, so you line up to order, then take your number to your table. If you're like me and get anxious when ordering, I'd recommend checking out the menu beforehand. There was live music when we visited, and the wide range of draft cocktails and drinks really made the place stand out. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to meet up with friends for dinner!

Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. It was recommended as I'm a beer "snob" by some friends. You get a wristband and pay by the ounce for your drinks, which is great when there are tons of options. Unfortunately, I was a bit underwhelmed with the beer selection, it was not at all interesting or new. They had the staples and some decent options, but nothing I hadn't tried before. Not one stout or porter (it's December for crying out loud). There were several cocktail options which my wife and her friends liked. We ordered 2 pizzas. The "Classic" was just ok, and the "Pokey Dokey" which was excellent. The restaurant itself is decorated really nicely. Fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, string lights, and what looked to be comfortable outdoor seating. We sat inside (it was 10 degrees out) and unfortunately got a wobbly table :( The service was very good, the people working the register were full of smiles and the manager even stopped by to say hello and make sure we were good. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere than the bar scene, but still get some decent drinks and ambiance.

Best firewood bricks pizza I have ever had!! The options are unlimited I normally just stick to my pepperoni and pineapple combo. I also tried the smoked s'mores 10/10. The employees are very kind and don't mind answering any questions you may have pertaining to your order. Our s'mores were sent out too early making it cold by the time I was ready to eat it. I did let the employee know and a new hot one was made for us with no problem. Location is great for hanging out with friends There are only two fire pits but the seating is enough for big groups. Keep in mind that the weekends are busy. There is plenty of parking along the back of the building. Can't forget to mention they do have cocktails which in my opinion are not very strong.

I want to shout out the s'more's skillet cookie they offer! I forgot the exact name but if you describe it just like that, they'll know what you're talking about! Not sure if it's year-round but my friends bought it during the summer-very delicious! The service is amazing, they bring out the food to you fairly quick even on a busy summer day, and the ambiance outside was spectacular. Even though my friends and I went on a windy day, the sun was shining bright and well!

This place NEVER disappoints. I really love how this is outside turner park, allowing for a pretty view if choosing to eat outside. I really love the all day happy hour on Sunday combined with the free parking on Sundays. This makes for a nice little lunch date as a college student. With that, the food always hits the spot. I'd have to say, my favorite is the bbq chicken pizza. I'd have to say, they have a nice variety of pizza already but the addition of a custom pizza makes this place even better. I highly recommend for those with family visiting, needing a lunch date, or anyone hoping for some good tasting pizza!!

I usually like to try new places but I have been back here multiple times!!! It's not a full service place - you head up to the front to order (from a delicious line up of pizzas, pastas, and more!) and if you want a drink they'll give you a wristband. The wristband allows you to head over to a wall where they have self-pour drinks - different types of beer and wine and cocktails. It's a really fun idea! You pay per ounce you pour and this allows you to try multiple different drinks really easily and you don't have to commit to a full glass of something you may not like. It's a really cool, laid back atmosphere. During the day there's a ton of natural light that pours in and at night they dim the lights for a fun vibe. It's usually pretty crowded in the evenings but they have plenty of seating. They even have some outdoor spots to hang by the fireplace!

I have been wanting to try Smokin Oak since they first opened. It was well worth the wait. My buffalo chicken pizza was delicious. It had the right combination of tinge bit of spice, flavorful chicken, and just a bit of sweet from the raspberry sauce. I was not expecting the raspberry sauce, but it so elevated the flavors! I am usually not a fan of blue cheese either, but it was barely noticeable with how it was incorporated. The stuffed cheesy bread was also delicious. Others in our group had the pesto pizza, the Smokey dokey, and the gluten free pizza. Everyone was satisfied with what they had.

The pizza options are vast and you can even customize your own pizza. The service is quite fast, and the setting is quite cozy. Personally, they have nice smoky pizza base texture but lacking crunch and overall flavor. I will definitely revisit again to try out their other pizza
